La Vieille Fille (1972)

From IMWDb
La Vieille Fille

Jean-Pierre Blanc directs this Franco-Italian comedy-drama, a co-production of Lira Films and Praesidens. Vacationing alone at a seaside hotel in Cassis, forlorn spinster Muriel Bouchon finds herself sharing a table with Gabriel Marcassus, a rakish stranger stranded a few days while his car is repaired, and an unlikely romance takes hold. (Wikipedia) Annie Girardot plays Muriel opposite Philippe Noiret as Gabriel and Marthe Keller as Vicka; the film opened in France on 5 January 1972 and won Blanc the Silver Bear for Best Director at that year's Berlin International Film Festival.

Watches

Rolex Oyster Perpetual
Worn by Annie Girardot as Muriel Bouchon. Montres de Luxe identifies Muriel's watch as an intermediate-size steel Rolex Oyster, with no reference given; the description matches the mid-size Oyster Perpetual of the period rather than one specific execution. (Montres de Luxe)
