Bill Forsyth directs this comedy-drama. When Texas oil company Knox Oil decides to build a refinery in a small Scottish fishing village, executive Mac MacIntyre is sent to negotiate the purchase, while eccentric CEO Felix Happer, played by Burt Lancaster, remains fixated on the village's stargazing potential back home. (IMDb)
Watches
- Patek Philippe Calatrava
- Worn by Burt Lancaster as Felix Happer. Montres de Luxe identifies Happer's watch as a yellow-gold Patek Philippe Calatrava, but gives no reference number. (Montres de Luxe) BAMF Style, working from the film, names no maker. It describes a gold watch with a fluted bezel and a round white dial whose register at six o'clock looks like a moon phase, fitting Happer's astronomy, on a smooth black leather strap. (BAMF Style)
