Memoirs of a Murderer (22年目の告白－私が殺人犯です－) is a 2017 Japanese thriller directed by Yu Irie, a remake of the 2012 South Korean film Confession of Murder. Released June 10, 2017, it follows Tatsuya Fujiwara as Masato Sonezaki, who publishes a memoir confessing to a string of unsolved 1995 murders as the statute of limitations nears expiry, prompting Hideaki Ito's detective Ko Makimura and Toru Nakamura's fellow investigator Toshio Sendo to reopen the case.
