Donald Petrie's adventure comedy, loosely based on the Harvey Comics character created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer. Macaulay Culkin plays Richard "Richie" Rich Jr., the world's richest boy, who befriends a group of working-class kids from the town his family's factory employs while the company's greedy CFO, Laurence Van Dough, schemes to kill the Rich family and seize their fortune.
