Watches
- Bulova Accutron Astronaut
- Worn by Kirk Douglas as Col. Martin "Jiggs" Casey. Casey wears a Bulova Accutron Astronaut, the 1962 tuning-fork pilot's watch with a 24-hour hand, which the film shows in close-up; an apt issue for a Marine colonel at the Pentagon in a thriller set in the then-near future of the early 1970s. Two independent trails agree: a Horlogeforum.nl member posted a frame and a clip of the close-up in 2025, and the 1990s "heliosz" watches-in-movies list, reposted on Relojes Especiales in 2006, had already recorded "a close-up of a Bulova Accutron Astronaut worn by Kirk Douglas". Neither names a case reference, so the row sits on the model line. (Horlogeforum.nl; Relojes Especiales) A third trail: REPISO posted a close-up on Relojes Especiales in December 2013 asking which military watch it was, and Alyazirat and Boctok both answered Bulova Accutron, Boctok noting its GMT function. The scene is REPISO's capture, 484 px wide, the only frame of the close-up found. (Relojes Especiales; Relojes Especiales; Relojes Especiales)
