Shin Kamen Rider (シン・仮面ライダー) is a 2023 Japanese superhero film written and directed by Hideaki Anno, made to mark Kamen Rider's 50th anniversary and the third of Anno's Shin-prefixed reimaginings after Shin Godzilla (2016) and Shin Ultraman (2022). Takeshi Hongo (Sosuke Ikematsu), experimented on by the secret society SHOCKER and transformed into a cyborg grasshopper-themed Rider, fights to protect Ruriko Midorikawa (Minami Hamabe), daughter of the scientist who defected from SHOCKER to save him.
