The Omega Seamaster De Ville 166.020 is a mid-1960s dress watch from the years when Omega's De Ville was still a designation on the Seamaster rather than its own line — a slim, clean-dialled watch on the Seamaster's water-resistant monocoque case, made for a suit rather than the sea. This reference carries a black dial and the automatic calibre 562 (some examples the closely related 565), Omega's well-regarded mid-century automatics with a date. It dates itself precisely to before 1967, when Omega split De Ville off as a separate collection, which makes it exactly the right vintage register for a Mad Men wardrobe set in that decade. (Omega)
