Casio G-Shock DW-5600C-1V

Worn by Keanu Reeves as Jack Traven. Traven wears a Casio G-Shock DW-5600C-1V, already roughly seven years old at filming. The DW-5600C is the last of the early 5000/5600 line built with a screw-lock steel case back (a mirror-finished back over the module 691 caliber), which gives it a more solid construction than the snap-back 5600s that followed. Its prominence here made it permanent watch-community shorthand: the "Speed G-Shock." (G-Central; spotting via Watchreel) Hodinkee independently names the DW-5600C-1V and times the camera's push-in on it, reading 8:05, at 00:30:33 as the bomber's call ends; the watch timing the bomb under the bus at 00:45:08 is, in Hodinkee's reading, an unbranded gold Day-Date lookalike rather than a Rolex.
