The Confidence Man JP: Episode of the Princess is a 2020 Japanese film directed by Ryo Tanaka, the second theatrical installment of the Confidence Man JP franchise built on Masami Nagasawa's television con-artist series, following the 2019 theatrical film and preceding Episode of the Hero (2022). Nagasawa returns as grifter "Dako" alongside Masahiro Higashide as "Boku-chan" and Fumiyo Kohinata as "Richard," this time targeting the Fuu family's fortune after patriarch Raymond Fuu dies leaving his ten-trillion-yen estate to an unknown, unverified heir on the Malaysian island of Langkawi. Yuta Furukawa plays Christopher Fuu, one of three siblings competing for the inheritance. The film was the third highest-grossing Japanese release of 2020 and opened theatrically on July 23, 2020.
