The Delta Force is a 1986 action film directed by Menahem Golan, loosely inspired by the 1985 TWA Flight 847 hijacking. After Palestinian terrorists hijack an American airliner and hold its passengers hostage, the elite Delta Force unit, led by Major Scott McCoy (Chuck Norris) and Colonel Nick Alexander (Lee Marvin), mounts a rescue operation.
