The Getaway

Roger Donaldson directs this Universal Pictures remake of Sam Peckinpah's 1972 film, again adapted from Jim Thompson's 1958 novel. Paroled bank robber Doc McCoy and his wife Carol flee for the Mexican border with a stolen fortune after a heist goes wrong, pursued by the double-crossing partner who arranged Doc's release. (Wikipedia) Alec Baldwin plays Doc opposite Kim Basinger as Carol and James Woods as fixer Jack Benyon; Largo Entertainment produced the film for Universal, which released it 11 February 1994.
