The Naked Runner

Sidney J. Furie's 1967 Cold War thriller, adapted by Stanley Mann from Francis Clifford's novel and distributed by Warner Bros.-Seven Arts, the last film Frank Sinatra made for the studio. Frank Sinatra plays Sam Laker, an American former intelligence operative turned furniture designer living in London, blackmailed by British handler Martin Slattery (Peter Vaughan) into assassinating a defector in East Germany while Slattery's service threatens Laker's young son to ensure compliance.
