The Breitling Top Time debuted in 1964 as a chronograph aimed at young buyers, and a reference 2002 example became the first watch Q Branch ever modified for James Bond, fitted with a Geiger counter for Sean Connery in Thunderball (1965). The reference 810 "Long Playing" execution followed in 1968, nicknamed for the long mainspring of its manual-wind Venus 178 movement, which stretched power reserve to 52 hours. (Gear Patrol)
