十津川警部シリーズ8「外房線に消えた女～十津川の初恋～」 is a three-hour TBS mystery special that aired 25 March 2019, the eighth installment of the long-running Totsugawa Keibu franchise adapting Kyotaro Nishimura's detective novels. Takeshi Naito stars as Inspector Totsugawa, paired as always with Kenjiro Ishimaru's Detective Kamei, investigating a case built around Totsugawa's own past: a man claiming to be a lawyer arrives from Tateyama, Chiba, reporting that hotel proprietress Yuko Haraguchi, whom a young Totsugawa once loved, has died suddenly, and that her daughter Yuki has vanished. When the visitor turns up murdered and is revealed never to have been a lawyer, Totsugawa and Kamei discover the reported deaths were reversed: it was the daughter who died, and the mother who disappeared. Momoko Kikuchi guest stars as Yuko, Totsugawa's first love. Tokuma Nishioka and Ryosuke Otani round out the supporting cast. (Jackroad)
