Girard-Perregaux Laureato EVO3 Chronograph 80180

Worn by Ricardo Chavira as Carlos Solis. Chavira wears the Laureato as a steel chronograph on his right wrist, which the sighting notes explicitly. Girard-Perregaux launched the Laureato in 1975 as an integrated-bracelet steel sports watch with an octagonal bezel, and the EVO3 generation arrived in 2004 on a 44 mm case, the same year the series premiered. It appears to be the performer's own taste rather than a placement: in a September 2005 forum post, Ron Jackson, then president of Girard-Perregaux USA, is quoted saying Chavira wears the brand out of personal preference and not because of product placement, and the same post reads the watch as a Laureato EVO3.
