NCIS: Los Angeles (2009)
More actions

Follows the undercover agents assigned to the Office of Special Projects (OSP), a special branch of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) that investigate terrorism and National Security threats. Created by Shane Brennan as a spin-off of NCIS, the CBS procedural premiered in September 2009 and ran fourteen seasons to 2023, with Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J leading a Los Angeles team that works out of a converted Spanish-style building and spends most of its screen time in the field rather than a squad room. The undercover premise puts the cast in street clothes and tactical gear far more often than suits, which is why the show's wrists run to dive, field and digital watches. (IMDb, Wikipedia)
Watches
- Casio G-Shock DW6900-1V
- Worn by Daniela Ruah as Kensi Blye. Daniela Ruah's Kensi Blye wears the all-black Casio G-Shock DW6900-1V, the resin digital whose three-window "tri-graph" display has been a G-Shock fixture since the model's 1995 debut. Watch-ID logs the sighting from the show's later run, in 2023. (Watch-ID)Scene image neededSubmit a scene still!
- Luminox 8251 EVO Ultimate SEAL
- Worn by Daniela Ruah as Kensi Blye. Kensi Blye also turns up in a Luminox 8251 EVO Ultimate SEAL, blacked out across case, dial and strap, in select episodes. The EVO Ultimate SEAL descends from the tritium-tube Navy SEAL dive watch Luminox built its name on, so the model choice matches the character's field work even where the identification rests on the blacked-out case and strap rather than a legible dial. - Oakley Holeshot
- Worn by Eric Christian Olsen as Marty Deeks. Eric Christian Olsen's LAPD liaison Marty Deeks wears an Oakley Holeshot, the sports-brand chronograph that fits the character's surfer register better than an issued military watch would. Watch-ID places the sighting in season four, episode twenty-one. (Watch-ID)Scene image neededSubmit a scene still!
- Suunto X-Lander Military
- Worn by LL Cool J as Sam Hanna. LL Cool J's Sam Hanna, a former Navy SEAL, wears a Suunto X-Lander Military across the series, the Finnish brand's altimeter-barometer-compass computer in its military trim. It is a wristtop instrument rather than a dress watch, and it matches the character's background more directly than anything else on the OSP team's wrists. - Wenger Swiss Army Commando GMT
- Worn by Daniela Ruah as Kensi Blye. A third Kensi Blye watch, the Wenger Swiss Army Commando GMT reference 74745 on a leather strap, is identified from a promotional photograph of Daniela Ruah rather than from episode footage, so the sighting establishes the model without fixing it to a scene.
