Nobel is a 2016 Norwegian war drama created by Mette M. Bølstad, Per-Olav Sørensen, and Stephen Uhlander for NRK, broadcast internationally as Nobel – Peace at Any Cost. Across its single eight-episode season, paratrooper patrol commander Erling Riiser returns to Oslo from a deployment in Afghanistan carrying an unresolved mission and a widening rift with the family he left behind, as the series intercuts his homecoming with the special-forces operation that still haunts him. Aksel Hennie and Anders Danielsen Lie lead the cast, with Tuva Novotny. (Wikipedia)
Watches
- Rolex Submariner
- Worn by Aksel Hennie as Erling Riiser. Hennie's Erling Riiser, a special-forces patrol commander shuttling between Kabul and Oslo, wears a steel Rolex Submariner Date visibly throughout the series. Montres de Luxe names the exact piece as a Submariner Date reference 126610LN, but Rolex did not release that reference until September 2020, four years after Nobel premiered; the family-level identification is preserved here since the specific reference is chronologically impossible for the production, and most plausibly reflects a citation drawn from Rolex's then-current catalog rather than the watch actually filmed. - Rolex Daytona
- Worn by Anders Danielsen Lie as Jon Petter Hals. Danielsen Lie plays Jon Petter Hals, Erling Riiser's patrol commander in Afghanistan before him, wearing a steel Rolex Daytona. Montres de Luxe identifies the model but does not resolve a specific reference. (Montres de Luxe)Scene image neededSubmit a scene still!
