Proof of Eternity is an NHK special drama that aired 22 March 2025, adapting Keiya Iwai's award-winning debut novel. Yoyosuke Sugino stars as Ryoji Mitsuya, a mathematics prodigy who enrolls at Kyomei University as a special recommended student and befriends fellow students Yuichi Kumazawa (Ryo Ryusei) and Sana Saito (Nagisa Sekimizu), the three of them bonding over a shared obsession with proving the unsolved Collatz conjecture.
