Signal (시그널) is a tvN crime series written by Kim Eun-hee and directed by Kim Won-seok that aired 16 episodes from January 22 to March 12, 2016. Lee Je-hoon plays Park Hae-young, a profiler in 2015 who finds a walkie-talkie that connects him, at 11:23 each night, to Cho Jin-woong's Lee Jae-han, a detective working the same cold cases years earlier; Kim Hye-soo plays Cha Soo-hyun, who knew Jae-han and now leads Hae-young's team. - Worn by Cho Jin-woong as Lee Jae-han. Lee Jae-han wears one watch through the series, and the Korean press of the run agreed on its maker: Dogfight, a Korean pilot-watch label sold through the Gallery O'Clock chain. Ilgan Sports and bnt named the Ace collection in February 2016; Sports Chosun printed the reference DF0009, a black-dialled chronograph at 295,000 won; and Money Today, after the final episode of 12 March, showed a green-dialled three-hand Ace at the same price beside its frame. These were retail-credit items relaying the distributor, and they do not agree on the execution. The Economic Review's watch column later described a green dial, an onion crown and a leather strap, and its tvN frame from the final episode shows that watch: green dial, large white numerals, tan strap. - Worn by Lee Je-hoon as Park Hae-young. Ilgan Sports and bnt, in retail-credit items published during the run, name the watch Park Hae-young checks against the 11:23 transmissions as a Citizen, and bnt specifies a radio-controlled model sold through Gallery O'Clock. The Citizen product image printed with both is a black-dialled Eco-Drive radio-controlled chronograph with red accents on a perforated black strap. Both items relay the distributor, neither prints a reference, and the frame Ilgan Sports reproduces shows a dark watch on a dark strap without resolving the dial.
