The Professionals is a British espionage series created by Brian Clemens, running five seasons on ITV from 1977 to 1983. The show follows William Bodie (Lewis Collins) and Raymond Doyle (Martin Shaw), top field agents for CI5 (Criminal Intelligence 5), a secret organization charged with protecting the United Kingdom from terrorism and organized crime, under the command of Gordon Jackson's Major George Cowley.
