The Heuer Senator GMT succeeded the hexagonal Chronosplit Manhattan in 1979, keeping the same stacked layout of an LCD chronograph and date display above an analog time-of-day dial, now inside a smooth, lozenge-shaped case. Sold only as a dual-display watch, the Senator runs two entirely independent movements so the digital and analog displays can each hold a different time zone, and unlike the Manhattan's Citizen-sourced module, Heuer sourced the Senator's chip from its own Heuer Micro-Technik, marking the dial "Swiss Made." References include 107.403 (steel with gold accents), the gold-plated 107.405, and the steel-only 107.413. (OnTheDash)
