Where Does the Sea Begin (海のはじまり) is a Fuji TV Getsuku (Monday 9 PM) drama from the writer-director-producer team behind 2022's Silent, which aired from July 1 to September 23, 2024. Ren Meguro of Snow Man stars as Natsu Tsukioka, who breaks up with his college girlfriend Mizuki Nagumo and loses touch with her for seven years, then learns at her funeral that the young daughter she left behind is his own child; Kasumi Arimura co-stars as Yayoi Momose, who becomes part of the girl's life afterward, and Kotone Furukawa plays Mizuki, seen in flashback across the series.
