Bohemia Interactive's military sandbox simulator, released for Windows in September 2013 and set on the Aegean islands of Altis and Stratis in a near-future NATO-CSAT conflict. The Czech studio's Real Virtuality engine trademark, large open terrain, authentic ballistics and a deep equipment simulation, extends to the smallest gear: the watch is a wearable inventory item players check to coordinate operations against the day-night cycle. - Fortis B-42 Marinemaster
- Arma 3's wearable watch item, the raid-planning clock of the equipment simulation, is modeled on the Fortis B-42 Marinemaster: Bohemia Interactive designer Karel Mořický named the model directly in a 2024 retrospective of the studio's in-game watches ("Arma 3 returned back to civilian model - Fortis B-42 Marinemaster"), speculating the civilian diver suited the game's post-apocalyptic RPG origins. A developer statement establishing the design source, alongside the in-game model's legible dive-bezel dial. (Karel Mořický, Armed Assault Wiki)
