The Breitling Premier is the vintage dress-chronograph line Willy Breitling launched in 1943, the maker's first collection aimed at style rather than the cockpit: hand-wound two- and three-register chronographs in 32–38 mm steel or gold cases, built on Venus and Valjoux calibres and produced into the 1950s. (Breitling, Goldammer) The line carried Breitling's more elaborate wartime complications: the Duograph split-seconds arrived in 1943 and the Datora calendar chronograph the following year, and its name returned on the modern Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph in 2018. No single reference describes the line's screen record; the pictured circa-1950 reference 790, a silvered-dial two-register example on a period expansion bracelet, represents the configuration most often seen.
