The Breitling Premier B01 Chronograph reference AB0118371B1P1 is a 42 mm steel chronograph with a black dial on a black alligator strap. (Breitling) It belongs to the Premier line Breitling relaunched in London in October 2018, reaching back to the dress chronographs Willy Breitling had introduced in the 1940s; the modern case is larger, but it keeps the two-register dial and a box-type crystal standing well proud of a thin fixed bezel. Driving it is the Manufacture Caliber 01, Breitling's in-house integrated chronograph: 4 Hz, column wheel with a vertical clutch, roughly 70 hours of reserve and COSC certification. The vertical clutch earns its place: it keeps the central chronograph hand from jumping at the start, and avoids the amplitude loss a horizontal clutch costs. (Professional Watches)
