The Grand Seiko 9R Spring Drive SBGA375 debuted at Baselworld 2018 as a blue-dial addition to the Heritage Collection's 44GS-inspired steel case, sized at 40 mm with an angular case shape drawn from Grand Seiko's 1967 44GS design. Its lacquered, sun-brushed midnight-blue dial carries a power-reserve indicator alongside a date window, powered by the caliber 9R65 Spring Drive movement, which combines a mechanical mainspring with quartz-regulated timekeeping for roughly 72 hours of reserve.
