Hamilton Digital Pulsar
The Hamilton Digital Pulsar name covers Hamilton's pioneering line of LED digital wristwatches, launched in 1972 through the company's Time Computer, Inc. subsidiary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and sold under the Pulsar brand before Hamilton sold the name to Seiko in 1978. Pressing a case button lit red LED digits in place of hands, a novelty that made the first solid-gold Pulsar a $2,100 status object years before digital watches became disposable consumer goods. Hamilton's own historical film-credit page places a "Digital Pulsar" on Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black II (2002) without naming a specific execution; a separate page covers the exact-reference Hamilton Pulsar P2 2900 worn on screen in Live and Let Die (1973).
