Heuer was a Swiss watchmaker founded in 1860, best known for chronographs like the Carrera and Monaco before the Heuer name was folded into TAG Heuer in 1985. (TAG Heuer) The appearances collected here establish the period maker but not a single model or reference. Haruki Murakami narrows the inherited watch in Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage only to a 1960s three-hand dress watch, a description rather than a model name. The lead frame preserves what is visible in Cape Fear without substituting a product photograph that would assert more than the evidence supports.
