The IWC Da Vinci Chronograph line began in 1985 as a round steel and gold chronograph, later offered with a perpetual calendar and moon-phase display, and ran through several case and dial generations, including the quartz-era Chronograph SL, before IWC discontinued and later revived the Da Vinci name in different case shapes. (Monochrome Watches) No single reference or generation describes the family's screen record.
