The IWC Yacht Club Ref.R811AD is the automatic-date ("AD") execution of IWC's 1967 tonneau-cased Yacht Club, the line the brand pitched as a sportier, water-resistant alternative to its dressier Ingenieur. The 36 mm steel case runs the in-house automatic Caliber 8541, a Pellaton-winding movement, behind a silvered dial with a date window at three o'clock; the "AD" suffix distinguishes this dated execution from the plain no-date "A" version of the same base reference.
