西村京太郎サスペンス 十津川警部シリーズ7「浜名湖殺人ルート」 is a TBS "Getsuyo Meisaku Gekijo" mystery special that aired 10 December 2018, the seventh installment of the Totsugawa Keibu franchise, adapting elements of Kyotaro Nishimura's novel Noto Hanto Satsujin Jiken and directed for the first time in the series by film director Kaizo Hayashi. Takeshi Naito again stars as Inspector Totsugawa opposite Kenjiro Ishimaru's Detective Kamei: shortly after the pair arrest a suspect in a string of murders, Totsugawa's wife Naoko is kidnapped, with her captors demanding the suspect's release before a fast-approaching deadline. The investigation carries Totsugawa and Kamei from the temples of historic Kamakura to the shores of Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture, filmed on location at both. Tokuma Nishioka appears in the supporting cast alongside Shushi Kashiwabara, in a rare guest-starring turn as a key figure in the case. (Jackroad)
