The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean's orange bezel was one of the collection's original color options at its 2005 launch alongside the standard black, pairing an orange ceramic-and-aluminum dive bezel with matching "reddish orange" Arabic numerals at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock on an otherwise black dial. The treatment carried the same 600 metre water resistance, helium escape valve, and Co-Axial architecture as the black version and has recurred across the Planet Ocean's later generations and case sizes, becoming one of the line's most recognizable color signatures.
