The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon launched in 2013 as the first Speedmaster with a case cut from a single block of black zirconium-oxide ceramic, reference 311.92.44.51.01.003. The 44.25 mm case, dial and pushers are all ceramic, with a matte chromium-nitride tachymeter scale on the polished bezel and water resistance of 50 metres. Unlike the hand-wound Moonwatch, it is powered by the automatic Co-Axial calibre 9300, a column-wheel chronograph with two subdials and roughly 60 hours of reserve, and it arrives on a nylon strap with a ceramic buckle. The model spawned an extensive ceramic "Side of the Moon" line and reframed the Speedmaster as a stealthy, contemporary design object. (Omega, Fratello)
