More actions
The Omega Speedmaster First Omega in Space reference 311.63.40.30.02.001 is the Sedna gold execution of Omega's numbered tribute to the CK 2998 Wally Schirra wore in orbit on 3 October 1962. Its 39.7 mm Sedna gold case carries a brown ceramic bezel ring with a tachymeter scale and an opaline silvery dial with brown subdials, on a brown leather strap; the caseback carries the "FIRST OMEGA IN SPACE" engraving and a numbered-edition serial, and the manual-winding calibre 1861 runs 48 hours. Omega now lists it as no longer available. (Omega)
Two xbiao.com writers identify this reference on the rich heir Xie Hongzu, played by Dong Zijian, in My Best Friend's Story: 芯选 describes the 18-karat rose-gold CK2998 re-edition and 王莹莹 names the reference. (Xbiao; Xbiao)
