Zodiac Triple Date Moonphase
More actions
The Zodiac Triple Date Moonphase is a family of automatic watches combining a day/date/month calendar with a moonphase display, sold in steel (ref. 742-908) and gold-cased (ref. 743-908) variants around 35 mm. Specialist research based on surviving Zodiac catalogs places this second-generation family under the Grant name, catalog style 1737, beginning in 1964; the earlier ref. 908 was a separate generation already documented in the 1955 catalog. (Vintage Zodiacs) The black or gilt dial carries a Zodiac Automatic signature above the center, day and month windows just below 12 o'clock, a printed date scale around the dial's edge read by a pointer hand, and a painted moon-and-stars moonphase aperture at 6 o'clock.
