Alexander Skarsgård, born in Stockholm in 1976 and the eldest son of actor Stellan Skarsgård, is a Swedish actor who broke through internationally as Sgt. Brad "Iceman" Colbert in HBO's Generation Kill (2008) and the vampire Eric Northman across seven seasons of True Blood.
