Sam Worthington is an English-born Australian actor who went from a decade of Australian film and television to three blockbuster leads in under two years: Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation, Perseus in Clash of the Titans, and paraplegic Marine Jake Sully in Avatar, a role he has carried through James Cameron's sequels.
