Worn by Brad Pitt as John Smith. John works in a digital G-Shock, clearest in the desert after the Danz strike, where the frame shows the round metal inner bezel of the 2300 series set into the resin shell and a negative-display module. WatchReel labels it a GW-2310, but that solar-plus-atomic model did not launch until 2009, four years after the film, so the period-correct piece is the non-radio G-2310 (reference G2310R-1) introduced in 2001, which is also how Watches in Movies files it. IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph IW3706

Worn by Brad Pitt as John Smith. With the black suit John wears to the restaurant, and through the fight that follows him home, the G-Shock is gone and a steel chronograph on a steel bracelet is on his wrist: dark dial, three subdials, a bright window at three. BAMF Style identifies it as an IWC Pilot Chronograph IW3706 in a 39 mm case on a 20 mm bracelet, with a day-and-date window and three black subdials, and Watches in Movies lists the same reference for the character alongside the Casio. The two watches are not competing readings of one sighting, which is how they have sometimes been treated; they are two watches in different sequences, and the frames tell them apart at a glance.
