Napoleon wears a black resin Casio W-71 digital alarm chronograph, the pharmacy-counter Casio that signals almost nothing, exactly right for a character wrong about most social cues. A blogger who re-watched the film to settle a fan debate confirmed the W-71 over the mooted W-59 and F-91W. Its red and blue dial stripes visually rhyme with Uncle Rico's vintage Timex, either a coincidence or the film's most precise costume note. Uncle Rico wears a steel Timex LCD digital on a stainless expansion bracelet, a watch from the 1982 he cannot leave behind: black dial with red and blue accent stripes, ALARM and CHRONOGRAPH labels. Without a legible caseback the exact reference is unresolved, and WatchReel narrows it only to the Timex 71/79/95 series; Timex reissues the same design today as the T80.
