Blue Moment (ブルーモーメント) is a 2024 Fuji TV disaster drama adapting Kana Ozawa's manga of the same name, starring Tomohisa Yamashita as Kankuro Haruhara, a meteorological researcher and chief of the SDM (Special Disaster Management) task force created to protect lives from Japan's escalating weather disasters. Hiroshi Tachi plays Keiichi Sonobe, the cabinet minister overseeing SDM, and Miki Maya plays Ai Tachibana; Hideaki Ito guest-stars across episodes 8 and 9 as rescue-team member Motoki Niijima.
