Bones of Steel (鉄の骨) is a five-episode WOWOW drama that aired in the network's "Saturday Drama W" slot from 18 April to 16 May 2020, adapting Jun Ikeido's corporate novel of the same name, one of the author's recurring run of corporate dramas alongside Shitamachi Rocket and Hanzawa Naoki. Ryunosuke Kamiki stars as Heita Tomishima, a construction-firm site engineer transferred without warning into the company's "bid-rigging department," where he is drawn into the ethics of public-works collusion by managing director Soji Ogata, played by Seiyo Uchino. Osamu Mukai plays Shunichi Sonoda, an elite bank loan officer who courts Tomishima's girlfriend at the bank's Shinjuku branch. Shido Nakamura, Tao Tsuchiya, Kyohei Shibata, and Koyuki round out the cast. (IMDb)
