The Casio G-Shock DW-5600 is the square G-Shock line developed from the original 1983 DW-5000, with a resin-shrouded 42.8 mm case rated to 200 m, digital display, stopwatch, alarm, and countdown timer. Its variants include the 1987 screw-back DW-5600C with an incandescent bulb, the 1996 snap-back DW-5600E with an electro-luminescent panel, and later executions with different modules and illumination. A screen identification of “DW-5600” alone does not distinguish between them. (Casio)
