Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner's series continued the film Stargate for ten seasons and 214 episodes, from 27 July 1997 on Showtime and, from its sixth season, on the Sci Fi Channel, until 2007. Colonel Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) leads the SG-1 team through the Stargate from a base under Cheyenne Mountain with the astrophysicist Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping), the archaeologist Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) and the Jaffa Teal'c (Christopher Judge); Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder) takes command for the last two seasons. Worn by Amanda Tapping as Samantha Carter. Propworx's first official Stargate auction, on 25 September 2010, sold as lot 376 a "Suunto watch worn by actress Amanda Tapping as 'Samantha Carter' throughout Stargate SG-1": a "Green and black plastic digital sports watch with black rubber wristband and metal buckle ... manufactured in Finland by Suunto". Lot 377 was a second Carter watch, black, also given to Suunto, and the sale of 19 March 2011 added a third with her hero sunglasses (lot 176). Probable identification. The photograph of lot 376 shows a dark green case and a display reading TIME, ALTI, BARO and COMP, the layout of the Suunto Vector; the other two show a round black training model with SUUNTO under the display. Kenneth Cole watch

Worn by Amanda Tapping as Samantha Carter. A different Carter watch from her Suunto. Propworx sold "Dog tags and watch worn by actress Amanda Tapping as 'Samantha Carter' in the production of Stargate SG-1" on 19 March 2011 (lot 175), the watch a "Silver metal wristwatch with silver metal chain band ... manufactured by Kenneth Cole". The lot photographs show a small round case with a black dial, gilt Arabic numerals and the Kenneth Cole New York signature, on a heavy bracelet of round links. The lot names no model and no episode. Worn by Michael Shanks as Daniel Jackson. Propworx sold a "Watch and wallet worn by actor Michael Shanks as 'Daniel Jackson' in the production of Stargate SG-1" on 19 March 2011 (lot 184), the watch a "Silver wristwatch with black leather watchband ... manufactured by Kenneth Cole". The lot photographs show a rectangular steel case with a screw at each corner, a black multi-dial face with a large 12 and the Kenneth Cole New York signature, on a wide black leather strap.
