The IWC Da Vinci is IWC's most changeable line: launched in 1969 as a hexagonal-cased quartz watch (ref. 3501) around the Beta 21, the first Swiss quartz calibre, reborn in 1985 as Hano Burtscher's round case with articulated lugs for Kurt Klaus's crown-set perpetual calendar chronograph (ref. 3750), and recast in 2007 in a tonneau case kept until the round 2017 relaunch.
