The Omega Constellation Chronometer Ref.2652-4SC belongs to the reference that launched Omega's Constellation line in 1952 as the successor to its 1948 chronometer series. It runs on the automatic bumper caliber 354, designed by Charles Perregaux, whose semicircular oscillating weight swings back and forth rather than rotating fully, a transitional winding architecture Omega used before full-rotor calibers arrived; more than 1.3 million 352/354-family movements were produced between 1943 and 1955. Reference 2652 examples carry the pie-pan waffle-textured dial and dauphine hands stamped "Automatic Chronometer Officially Certified," each individually regulated and accompanied by a chronometer certificate.
