Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Commander's Watch
More actions
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M "Commander's Watch", reference 212.32.41.20.04.001, is a steel James Bond limited edition Omega released in August 2017, sized to 7,007 pieces and priced at US$5,000. SJX calls it notable for being "the first James Bond timepiece not tied to any film": rather than commemorating a specific installment, it reproduces the blue-bezel, white-dial Seamaster Pierce Brosnan's Bond wore beginning with GoldenEye (1995), in Union Jack colours, and its Calibre 2507 movement (an Omega-finished ETA 2892 base) carries a customised rotor decorated with three gold stripes and a loop, the rank insignia of a Commander in the Royal Navy Reserve, the rank Ian Fleming gave the fictional Bond. The 41 mm steel case pairs a blue ceramic bezel insert filled with Liquidmetal against a glossy white ceramic dial, the seconds-hand counterweight shaped into the "007" logo and the date disc's "7" printed in red. A platinum-gold sibling, limited to seven pieces, is reference 212.62.41.20.04.001. (SJX)
