The Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.012-67 is the fourth execution of the Speedmaster Professional and the final reference built around the hand-wound caliber 321, the column-wheel chronograph descended from Albert Piguet's Lemania 2310. Produced in 1967 and 1968, with some units delivered into 1969, it carries the 42 mm asymmetrical steel case with crown guards, a stepped dial with an applied Omega logo, and the black tachymeter bezel of NASA's qualified spaceflight chronograph. Roughly 27,000 to 28,000 left the line, the highest production of any caliber-321 Speedmaster, and Michael Collins wore this exact reference aboard the Apollo 11 command module while Armstrong and Aldrin's 145.012s descended to the surface.
