Tori Matsuzaka is a Japanese film and television actor born 17 October 1988 in Kanagawa, who debuted as Shinken Red in the tokusatsu series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (2009) before establishing himself as a leading man of Japanese crime and drama cinema. He stars as detective Shuichi Hioka across Kazuya Shiraishi's Blood of Wolves franchise, winning the Japan Academy Film Prize for best supporting actor for the 2018 original and reprising the role in Last of the Wolves (2021), and plays home-care worker Seiji Noro opposite Sayuri Yoshinaga in A Morning of Farewell the same year.
