Gabriel Byrne (born 1950, Dublin) is an Irish actor, director, and writer who came to film late, after spells as a teacher and archaeology student, and made his name in a run of hard, watchful leads: Tom Reagan in the Coen brothers' Miller's Crossing, the corrupt ex-policeman Dean Keaton in The Usual Suspects, and Satan opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in End of Days. His therapist Paul Weston in HBO's In Treatment won him a Golden Globe. (Wikipedia)
