North Sea Hijack

A counter-terrorism consultant is hired to stop hijackers who have seized a North Sea oil supply ship and planted explosives on two oil platforms, demanding a £25 million ransom. McLaglen and released 3 April 1980 in the UK, the film stars Roger Moore as Rufus Excalibur ffolkes alongside James Mason as Admiral Brindsen and Anthony Perkins as Kramer; also released as ffolkes and, for American television, as Assault Force.

Porsche Design Chronograph One

Worn by Anthony Perkins as Kramer. Montres de Luxe credits Kramer, the film's terrorist commander, with "un chrono Porsche Design," without naming a reference; F.A. Porsche's black PVD-cased chronograph, built by Orfina, was the only Porsche Design watch on the market at the time. Independently, a collector reviewing screenshots on The Watch Site identifies the same piece as running the Lemania 5100 movement, the caliber Orfina switched to after the Valjoux 7750 became scarce during the quartz crisis.
